Differently in 15 Years of Wholesaling and Flipping

What I love so much about Edward Beck is that he’s the kind of guy who tells it like it is. There are so many gurus telling people how to get Sweden Phone Number rich quick while posing in front of cars that aren’t even theirs. Edward despises this side of the industry, and just like we at Carrot, Edward is determined to change the way real estate investors are viewed. Thinking It Would Be Easy

Twenty years ago, wholesale was a different ball game. You could put up 100 panels and receive 100 calls. Wholesale sales were rare and people didn’t really understand what they were doing. Today, things are very different. In some places, the market is saturated. You can put up 100 signs today and maybe get 10 calls if you’re lucky. The old ways of marketing aren’t what they used to be. With so many people in the business, it’s more important than ever that you provide high-quality content and really find ways to help and connect with your audience. Thinking he had to do more Direct mail, cold calling, PPC, SEO, SMS, door-to-door… These are all great ways to get leads, but they’re not for everyone.

Know Your Audience

Edward knew he didn’t want to market that way anymore. He creates great content and lets the leads come to him. It is building a name for itself as a trusted resource, creating authority in its market. Instead of making seven calls to a potential prospect, he will meet them directly. He never negotiates over the phone. He likes to sit with people, get to know them and have a real conversation. He’s the kind of guy who’d rather have a cup of coffee with someone than sit behind his computer desk. He found what worked for him and ran with it, not giving in and doing whatever investors assume they should be doing.
